Rachael Preston is the author of three novels: Tent of Blue, The Wind Seller, and The Fishers of Paradise. In 2016, The Fishers of Paradise was chosen by Project Bookmark Canada for Bookmark #16, and a plaque was placed along the Desjardins Trail in Hamilton, Ontario. In 2020, Rachael’s entry, “The Story Teller,” short-listed for the CBC non-fiction contest.

Originally from Yorkshire, England, Rachael taught creative writing for more than a decade at Sheridan and Mohawk Colleges in Ontario. She now lives on Vancouver Island.
